The Data Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible for monitoring, reviewing and improving data quality within the company and ensures that the company's data quality standards are achieved through a series of regular data maintenance activities, and enacting an overall data quality strategy. The Data Quality Assurance Officer is also responsible for assessing the quality of the AI models that are developed by the AI team and assessing the quality of the annotated data provided to train these models. In addition, he/she will review the quality of the reports and the dashboards developed by the data analysts. The Data Quality Assurance Officer is in charge of managing and enforcing data quality initiatives, like data definitions, acquisition, expansion, cleaning, and updating.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and reviewing data stored in the Warehouse and the data generated by aggregators, queries and formulae, checking for completion and accuracy.
- Implement automated data validation rules to be run against data, reports and dashboards.
- Data cleansing - identifying, assessing and resolving any data quality issues.
- Compare data from different sources, assess its quality and undertake actions to remove data deficiencies.
- Monitoring and reviewing the quality of the AI models developed by the Data Scientists.
- Monitoring and reviewing the quality of the reports and dashboards generated within the company.
- Implementing the data governance framework through monitoring the quality and security of the data aimed at achieving automatic compliance and real-time data driven decision making.
- Developing data quality best practice guidelines and providing user training.
- Addressing the root cause of data inconsistencies and recommending improvements.
- Developing good relationships with users across the company and interacting with them to resolve any data quality issues.
- Measuring and reporting to management on the progress of data quality improvement.
- Implement data management frameworks to manage end-to-end data analytics processes.
- Analyzing quality assurance data and making recommendations for improvement to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or any relevant field.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proven work experience as a Data Quality Assurance Officer or similar role.
- Working knowledge of tools, methods and concepts of quality assurance.
- Solid knowledge of relevant and international standards.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Quality Assurance Officer.
