Job Description

An investment company is looking for a Real Estate Investments Executive Director to lead Real Estate Investments team with a vision to sustain solid market shares in the industry. He/She will lead Improving the organization’s market position and achieve financial growth, defining long-term organizational strategic goals, building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals, and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

The investment company is active in asset management, real estate, and private equity.


Responsibilities

Strategic:

  • Responsible for leading all functions of the RE management department. Devising department strategy that entails development of new and attractive investment products. Be an active member of the senior management team of MEFIC and help the institute achieve its long-term strategic objectives and goals. Prepare the annual investment plans and budgets.
  • Optimum goal is to expand company’s market share.

Functional / Operational:

  • Implementing robust investment process based on research-driven approach which generates long-term out-performance on a consistent basis.
  • Getting exposed to new sectors amp; geographies.
  • Analyzing, discussing, negotiating, and closing deals that meet the investment criteria.
  • Conducting intensive due diligence process for each business opportunity, considering risk factors that might arise.

Clients:

  • Working closely with Wealth Management team to attract new business.
  • Making joint calls to potential and existing clients.
  • Exploring client needs, and structuring products that meet their appetite

Administrative Management:

Ensure department policy and procedures are updated and implemented.

People:

  • Ensuring in-house development of all staff of Real Estate and sending them for appropriate training to enhance their technical knowledge.

Risk amp; Control:

  • All functions are in accordance with Risk and Audit requirements. All audit observations are implemented as agreed in due course of time.

Compliance amp; Regulatory:

  • Interaction with regulatory as and when needed. Ensuring all RE functions and products are in compliance with all compliance amp; regulatory requirements.

Quality:

  • Ensure quality of the team and work is never compromised.

Requirements

Candidates should have a proven record in:

  • Market relationships.
  • Investment Banking Transaction Cycles Understanding.
  • Financial Analysis.
  • Valuation Analysis.
  • Team Management.
  • Communication and negotiation skills.
  • Minimum 10 Years in the Industry.
  • Minimum 5 Years of experience in a decision making position.
