We are looking for a Logistics Duty Manager to oversee logistics, facilities, security and staff service. Duty Manager responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, ensuring employee productivity, monitoring efficiency of all processes and creating a positive work environment for employees. You will also meet regularly with upper management to stay up-to-date with organizational changes, issues and improvements. Ultimately, you will ensure all operations flow smoothly and help us meet our company goals.
Responsibilities
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and staff services
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
- Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
- Meet regularly with upper management to stay informed on company issues
- Oversee security of the facility
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a Logistics Duty Manager
- Record of successful distribution and logistics management
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
- Experience with facilities maintenance and/or security
- Proficient in standard logistics software
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
- BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
