About The Role:
Hi all! We are looking for a BI Developer to be accountable for the design, development, and support of databases and reporting across various technology platforms, including Cloud Data warehouses, SQL Servers, etc., and to create data visualizations on BI tools like PowerBI, etc.
This role will work closely with multiple business stakeholders, as well as technology teams, and will ensure a seamless flow of data/insights in the form of state-of-the-art dashboards and reports.

Key Responsibilities
- Translate business needs to technical specifications
- Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g. MicroStrategy)
- Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
- Develop and update technical documentation
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of total experience in BI and ETL development.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Computers or a related field
- Deep understanding of database and analytical technologies in the Famp;B, e-commerce, fintech, and SaaS industries - SQL/NoSQL databases, Data Warehouse design, BI reporting, and Dashboard development
- Hands-on experience in Data Model design, Schema representation, DB structures, and other table/object-related properties.
- Strong hands-on with SQL, stored procedures, etc.
- Strong experience amp; background in dealing with cross-functional departments, understanding business requirements, identifying Key Metrics, and hand-holding various teams on ad-hoc data requirements.
- Knowledge of Cloud-based technologies and familiarity with Python will be a huge advantage.
- Knowledge of ETL methodologies like SSIS, Informatica, Talend, etc.
- Practical interpersonal skills, including strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
