Commercial Leader - Saudi (Jeddah)

We are looking for an experienced Commercial leader to ensure our online retail platform is permanently stocked with a flawless supply chain. In this role, you’ll collaborate with other departments, such as Operations and Finance, to create effective business plans, so teamwork skills are important. You should also have exceptional retail supermarket experience and be au fait with project management, as well as a great leadership and communication ability. • Select and maintain retail range of items.
• Manage pricing in line with Group standards.
• Conduct market research and analysis to ensure our pricing policy.
• Understand our customer’s profiles to ensure their needs are being met
• Build and maintain profitable partnerships with suppliers and key stakeholders
• Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management
• Evaluate and report on KPIs
• Monitor inbound logistics to make sure they run smoothly
• Maintain acceptable supply chain inventory.
• Train and guide employees
• Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
• Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
• Create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.)
• Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals

Requirements

• Previous experience supermarket and retail is a non-negotiable
• Africa experience is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
• Working experience of relevant software (e.g. SAP MM)
