Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage, coordinate and monitor the different activities of the People Department, and all regional operations of People in all countries (Payroll, employee relation and supporting government relations team) and their procedures. In addition to the strategic side of the role, the Head of People Operations is responsible for handling all facilities activities regionally within the Organizational policies and procedures.

People Operations and Payroll

  • Manage day to day People operational activities for all countries
  • Managing regional payroll and personnel functions for all countries
  • Ensure the correct processing of all payroll requests and incidents
  • Support all employee's requests and questions regarding Human Resources matters
  • Providing professional solutions on all aspects of People to all Departments’ Heads in the company.
  • Interpreting and ensuring all employment activities of the business comply with the local MOL and local laws in each country
  • Developing, customizing and executing People Operations policies and procedures on different locations
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the Human Resources information system and monitoring the timely update of personnel records.
  • Ensure that all People services relating to the employees are delivered in an outstanding standard and with the relevant Organizational expectation to facilitate a customer oriented environment and culture on regional basis
  • Lead and handle all grievances and complaints and investigations in regards to the organization.
  • Ensure providing an outstanding regional services to employees such as (Medical insurance, business trips, facilities procurement, HRIS, business cards, Letters, etc) with ability to communicate and evaluate services providers with clear criteria

Employee Relations

  • Lead HR Operation services such as On-boarding, Off boarding, employee relation's clusters, ensuring people, structures, processes, and systems are aligned to deliver key objectives efficiently and effectively.
  • Investigating and auditing personnel problems
  • Give proper recommendations and build implementations to match the company’s goals.
  • Detecting and handling employee complaints, warnings and terminations in accordance with MOL.
  • Manage all contract procedures and probations procedures accordingly
  • Managing evaluations and promotion procedures and assure the justice and reasonability of the results.
  • Meeting with departments’ heads and coordinating various People issues.
  • Building and maintaining a cooperative network with relevant internal and external partners.
  • Lead all government relations requirements
  • Liaise with Government bodies and build relationships with key government stakeholders to ensure that the all government related needs are facilitated efficiently
  • Manage all visa related requirements, transfers, and exists and reentries

Facility Management

  • Planning, directing and coordinating essential services such as maintenance, repair, safety, security and cleaning and managing Facility operations regionally
  • Supervising and coordinating work of contractors.
  • Checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies.
  • Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and dealing with the consequences.
  • Planning best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new buildings, or re-organizing current premises.


Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in business administration or relevant field
  • 6-8 years of experience in the same field
  • 3-4 years of experience in a managerial role
  • Fluent in the English language
  • Advanced knowledge in Labor Law
  • Proven experience in different HRISs
  • Strong MS office skills
  • Advanced levels in Excel skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation with ability to use patience and diplomacy to handle issues
  • Experience in end-to-end HR opera
