• Traveling to specified locations to draw blood samples, tissues and other fluid samples as required.
• Gathering mandatory information from patients and verifying their identities.
• Disinfecting extraction sites.
• Locating suitable veins and extracting blood samples using clean needles.
• Cleaning puncture sites and covering them with gauze, cotton-wool balls, or sticking plasters.
• Appropriately discarding used needles, syringes, and other items used during procedures.
• Ensure optimal quality and quantity of samples.
• Appropriately storing samples in accordance with established guidelines.
• Accurately labeling samples.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, which includes detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during the procedure that may affect the accuracy of test results.
• Answer patient questions and provide useful information.
• Transporting collected samples to the laboratory for testing.

Requirements

Certification: Maintains Professional licensure amp; registration as required by SCFHS

Experience: 1 year relevant experience in laboratories, hospitals, PHC or HHC.

Languages: Arabic language is a must, fluency in written and spoken English
