Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst - Dashboard Specialist to support the Logistics and Supply chain team in developing and maintaining dashboards and reports in accordance with business needs. Provides support to Public Works section with all relevant Status Reports, updating and maintaining database, generating statistical reports and ensuring that all required reports are prepared and readily available. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Data analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. Data analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Create and design dashboard to visualize amp; monitor data in a meaningful manner.
- Generate and manage statistical reports and data extraction and archiving historical data as may be required.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information System or equivalent
- Experience in relevant software and systems, Microsoft Office amp; reporting programs
- 10 years relevant experience in data analysis, managing large amount of data and deriving easy to understand reports and building trend analysis Proven capability of creating, designing and maintaining dashboards
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Excellent communication skills.
