About the Role:As the Country Operations Manager for the business in Saudi Arabia, you will be taking on complete ownership for supply operations and fulfillment across Saudi Arabia.You will be responsible for building the business unit strategy, and prioritizing and executing on a roadmap to enable you to meet expected targets on both a regional and country level. This role will require your physical presence across our operating hubs in Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah. You will have the direct responsibility for overseeing effective and efficient fulfillment to deliver a superior shipper and carrier experience.You will also drive cross functional relationships across the company to achieve the business unit goals, in particular working closely with the marketplace team to ensure that fulfillment is enabling a scalable, and profitable product, and with our commercial team to ensure that we are developing strong relationships with our shipping partners.What You'll Do:
  • Recruit, build, and manage a team of supply and fulfillment agents. Set the strategy, and deliver the team structure and needs to deliver results in a quickly growing environment
  • Identify operational weaknesses and gaps by regularly deep diving into all aspects of our core market operations
  • Create amp; optimize process for scale. Closely align with core market teams to understand our current processes, opportunities for increased efficiency, and areas where we can scale processes at a centralized level.
  • Build a data led perspective on operations, and in particular fulfillment to support country level visibility, and enable step change in effectiveness
  • Be a customer centric leader to build long-lasting relationships with Carriers / fleets and champion new product / features / processes in front of our Territories and Central Ops teams. You will be responsible for growth and engagement of our carrier base in your market
  • Act as the cross functional partner to the many teams that do not directly report to you, but are critical to successful execution of your plan, including Commercial, Finance and Trella Leadership
  • Define, lead, and operationalize the short-term and long-term strategy for the Operations team.
What You’ll Need:
  • 6+ years proven success in a similar role - leading operations/logistics, management consulting, startups, leading diverse teams, developing procedures, optimizing systems, and achieving benchmark operational goals. Evidence of complete ownership of a complex project with many partners highly valued.
  • A competent, decisive and optimistic leader that can rally many teams and stakeholders to achieve a shared vision.
  • Analytical Thinking. Data-driven mentality and strong business judgment.
  • Able to roll up your sleeves and analyze the data and pull key insights for your team.
