We are looking for an Urban Planner (Temporary Works) to provide support in evaluating studies for planning, design and development projects, support internal coordination and external outreach efforts.. The Urban Planner is responsible for assignments that are highly complex and sensitive in nature, where substantial judgment and initiative are essential in making recommendations and resolving problems relative to planning, design and development.
Requirements
The Urban Planner ( (Temporary Works) requires the depth of professional experience for an advanced understanding of all elements of City/Urban, Community and Regional planning. In addition to general competency in Urban Planning and Design, candidates should possess a comprehensive, interdisciplinary perspective, as well as a diverse knowledge of planning principles and best practice. This includes, but is not limited to, expertise in creating and evaluating land use policy, regulations, standards and guidelines, proposed plans for the utilization of land and infrastructure in support of planning, design and development projects, including urban mixed-use development, new master planned communities, and complex planning initiatives at a regional scale.
