The Advertising Sales Associate is responsible for identifying clients' needs, researching competitors' advertising services, products, and prices, and responding to potential clients' inquiries. The Advertising Sales Associate should be able to share media plan and campaign ideas for the clients.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contact potential clients through various means, including calls,emails, and meetings.
  • Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Conducting research on potential clients' products or services and determining the geographic location of the majority of their target customers.
  • Setting up meetings with potential clients to present advertising proposals and address their concerns.
  • Meeting with potential clients to discuss the benefits of the advertising space they are selling.
  • Tracking progress with these potential clients through lead management and client management software.
  • Assisting new and current clients with any needs they may have. This can include answering follow-up questions or connecting clients to relevant internal teams.
  • Tracking all the sales they make and reporting sales numbers to the management team.
  • Assisting the marketing team in the preparation of media kits and promotional plans.
  • Attending sales meetings, trade shows, and training workshops as required.
  • Creating a media plan based on clients’ objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, communications, or related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience working as an advertising sales representative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
  • Strong consultative sales and negotiation and skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • FMCG experience
  • Ecommerce experience
