Job Description

RESPONSIBLE TO: Director of Operations, Owners

GENERAL PURPOSE: To oversee local project management teams and supervise new restaurant projects from project start through to opening. To always hold responsibility for the project timeline and budget, able to guide team members and deal with any urgent matters regarding new projects. All work is carried out in-line with the departmental business plan, and The Group corporate guidelines, and project management principles.


MAIN DUTIES: TO CONTROL THE SUPERVISION AND MANAGEMENT OF NEW RESTAURANTS PROJECTS IN SAUDI ARABIA. TO BE FULLY COMMITED TO THE SUCCESS OF THE BUSINESS AND THE GROUP.

Note: This is not an all-inclusive list. Additional duties may be assigned.

Contract Management: Assess and study the agreed contract of project managers and (sub)contractors.

Project Planning: Prepare the project execution plan, initiate and manage both internal and external processes by setting up the project organisation in line with internal standards.

Operations: Manage and direct operations in line with the Project Management Planning.

People Management: Manage, motivate, and support both operational field and office employees with the provided management tools, and guidelines.

Project Control: Monitor all project-related financial processes, and take action to identify potential risk areas in line with financial -and risk management guidelines.

Reporting: Provide insights regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by means of periodical and ad-hoc reports and analyses in line with the reporting requirements.

Flexibility global projects, global availability, ability to manage your own time.

Branch out into full end-to-end management overseeing all aspects of business creation.

Continues to expand extensive knowledge of hospitality industry.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

Actively participate in assisting to achieve departmental goals and objectives and carry out assigned work by Directors.

Actively engage in your own personal development to benefit the business and improve your personal skills probationary period reviews, annual appraisals, attending training and development courses.

Actively participate and host weekly/monthly project and departmental meetings and any other meetings that you are required to attend.

Actively participate in addressing requests for information and resolving problems.

Actively hold responsibility for the venue and its staff.


GENERAL DUTIES:

Extreme flexibility to work when needed and assist the workload of others.

Co-ordinate projects building and leading a positive professional team.

Monitors industry trends and recommends appropriate changes to maintain the competitive status.

Maintains design and brand standards across all projects.

Attend any meeting or training session as required by Directors.

Maintains a safe and hygienic work environment.


Is conversant and complies with the following:

1. The company fre and health and safety procedures

2. The company security procedures

3. Licensing regulations

4. Project standards and departmental procedures


Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, PERSONAL SKILLS amp; PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

5 years’ experience in FOOD AND BEVERAGE and 2 years in restaurant openings and/or project management.

Excellent command of English language (Written and spoken).

Extensive knowledge of hospitality industry.

Ability to communicate with consultants and peers with a friendly and positive attitude.

Self-motivated, continuously seeking to succeed and progress in career within the company.

Extremely flexible and committed.

Lively, enthusiastic and confident.

Ability to handle difficult situations successfully.

Outstanding organizational skills.

Excellent supervisory and management skills
