Job description :

1. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions
2. Responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. Data analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance to identify improvements.
3. Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
4. Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
5. Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
6. Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
7. Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
8. Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Requirements:

1. Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
2. Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
3. Strong knowledge of and experience with SQL
4. Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, R, Scala or others
5. Knowledge of BI tools such as Google Looker, Tableau, etc.
6. Strong analytical and statistics skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
7. Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
8. BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or other relevant degrees
9. Any exposure to data science and machine learning is a plus
10. Any exposure to modern cloud data solutions provided by AWS, GCP or others is a plus
