We are looking for a Senior Compliance Accountant to ensure that our operations and business transactions follow all relevant legal and internal rules. To succeed in this role, you should be a reliable professional who is not afraid to speak their mind and stand by their decisions. You should be familiar with risk management and our industry’s standards. If you also have a sharp business acumen, we’d like to meet you. Your goal will be to ensure we operate in a legal and ethical manner while meeting our business objectives.
Responsibility
- Ensure that all processes and procedures are compliant with all company policies and government regulations ( GOSI , EOS, . )
- Make sure that all financial accounting is compliant with government and regulations
- Make sure that accounting and finance comply with local tax regulations
- Make sure that company financial transactions are compliant with IFRS
- Communicate with employees and make sure everyone is aware of what they need to do to comply with internal and external laws and regulations.
- Keep up to date with, and understand, relevant laws and regulations
- Monitor all risk management rules within the company
- Collaborate with other departments to create a culture of compliance.
- Developing educational programs for all employees, agents, contractors, or others working with the organization
- Tracking all issues referred to the compliance process
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in ( Accounting , Finance or relevant )
- Proven experience as an accountant minimum 5 years
- Fluent in English, written and verbal.
- Excellent organizing abilities , Great attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the (IFRS)
- Excellent in Microsoft Office, advanced MS Excel skills including
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, and principles
- Certificate in VAT specialist
- Prefer to have a professional certificate such as CPA , CIA or SOCPA
- Knowledge of Tax's and financial regulations
- Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications
- Excellent communication skills
