2. JOB PURPOSE:
Conduct all Static Equipments Inspection, review NDT reports and other related test to assure the current conditions of Plant equipments before / after the Maintenance activities, give recommendation for repair & assure quality of work and repair performed by Maintenance.

4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Testing & Commissioning
Conducting the required Static Equipment NDT Inspection and other related test and generate reports for the plant /equipment condition
Compliance to inspection Plan
Technical Studies:
Communication with Maintenance for scheduling Inspection and NDT test of equipment as per Major shutdown requirements.
Reports recommendations and compliances.
Contract Submittals :
Review contract submittals and identify variances with respect to scope of work to ensure the companys requirements are met for testing purpose.
Revision of contract submittals, which have addressed to variances identified.
Inspection :
Monitoring / inspect all Plant Equipments and systems by NDT methods according to a schedule and call in order to evaluate the reliability and integrity of such equipments and systems.
Completing all inspections and NDT according to schedule and providing timely inspection reports.

Quality Assurance :
Test the quality of materials, equipments and systems through NDT Methods for reliability and integrity in order to ensure that relevant standards of quality have been met.
Performing all NDT as per standard.Nun Destructive Testing and scheduling to meet quality standards.
Cost Control:
Monitor the financial performance of a given area of activity versus budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon.

Recommend improvements to departmental procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls covering a specific area of Inspection and NDT activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers.Compliance with procedural and legislative requirements.
Effective communication of procedures and instructions.
Safety, Quality & Environment:
Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls within a defined area of Inspection and NDT Engineering activity to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
Frequency of Marafiq IMS non-compliance points.
Frequency of LTIs, safety incidents and near misses.
5. JOB CONTEXT:
The jobholder is responsible to communicate with maintenance regarding Static, NDT inspection and test schedule for the Major shutdown.
The jobholder is responsible to solve the mechanical problems related to the static equipments and analyze plant incidence. The jobholder is also required to support Project and Design, Maintenance as well as Operation with the Static Equipment and NDT Inspection related details in order to effect modifications and changes.
To keep follow up with different Mechanical equipments, systems, changing technology and revealing market prices.
6. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal:
Plant Operations & Maintenance Departments on an ongoing basis in order to identify related requirements and implementation of recommendations or coordination.
Regular communication with Lead Engineer Inspection / Superintendent for directions and instructions on a daily basis.
External:
Vendors for getting information concerning the latest technology as needed.
7. FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:
All the company facilities in Jubail / Yanbu
Evaluation of contract submittals with regard to Inspection and NDT or other Mechanical Test purposes.
Evaluation of the performance of contractors.
Prepare scope of works and technical reports regarding Inspection and NDT

8. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum Experience:
7 years Mechanical Engineering Inspection and NDT Experience in a heavy industrial or utilities environment.
Experience of Technical Evaluation of design options.
Job-Specific Skills:
Having knowledge of various NDT Method like MT,PT,UT and RT .
Develop and implementation of test procedure.
Knowledge of Engineering International Standard i.e. ASTM, ASME, API, AWWA, ISO.etc
