Job Brief
We are looking for a passionate Data Automation Analyst. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.
Main Task and Responsibilities
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources
- Dive deep, recommend and own solutions to drive outcomes from root-cause analysis to uncover core issues through direct observation, facts and data.
- Audit accounts, study customer escalations and develop a deeper understanding of customer concerns
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Create appropriate tools (i.e. project status reports, dashboards) to measure the progress against the goals and update stakeholders.
- Provide analysis, write-ups and regular reporting of customer impacting issues
Requirements
- BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
- Proven 3-5 years working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
- Preference for Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
- Strong knowledge on CRM platforms, multiple source assembling and digital channels
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently across functional groups and on multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Must be flexible to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
