Job Description

  • Facilitate community planning initiatives through identifying and creating
  • development opportunities.
  • Coordinate and provide support to the CBD department and other departments.
  • Identify, secure and coordinate resources necessary to implement community
  • business development programs, and make recommendations on potential
  • opportunities.
  • Create invitation forms and presentations, send them through different official
  • channels of Salla and analyze the outcome.
  • Follow up with Salla’s merchants who are attending the events.
  • Prepare and submit weekly or monthly reports.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Business or a closely related field.
  • Previous work experience in community development.

KEY COMPETENCIES

The job holder needs to possess a high level of:

  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Work in a multicultural setting.
  • Creative and flexible so as to accommodate diverse community development initiatives.
  • Proficiency in computer application skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
