Job Description
A large Industrial and Manufacturing facility is in need of an Experienced IT Manager. Will be responsible for the Corporate IT systems and delivery of all IT services.
- Duties will include the day to day management of the IT departmental team.
- To provide full reporting on all IT related services; and issues in a timely manner respective reports needed by various senior Managers.
- Ensure the availability of company systems to assigned users.
- Ensures that all Hardware is maintained in a manner that satisfies Corporate needs / either through internal available skills or sourced ones.
- Maintain security and privacy of the information systems, communication lines, and equipments.
- Oversees the development, design, and implementation of new applications and changes to existing computer systems and software packages.
- Develops, reviews, and certifies all back-ups and disaster recovery procedures and plans/ while keeping IT systems fully active in such events.
- Assess current and future technology needs, short and long term project planning.
- Establishes IT departmental operating metrics, staffing needs, budgeting, vendor selection, networks, telephones and calls tracking, tracking devices (for all Sales reps. cars) and other technology solutions necessary to provide the highest level of service.
- Ensures that the Corporate IT systems are protected by valid anti-virus software and firewalls and per agreed protocols.
- To ensure compliance with Corporate IT security policy. To review with the management and up-date policy when need be.
- Designs the issuance of reports and to gradually develop the Corporate into Paperless operations.
- To ensure that the delivered services are in accordance with the output specification and service response times.
Job Specification
Minimum 5-7 years experience in an IT Managerial post.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Advanced skills in programming - particulary FoxPro.
Knowledge of medium to large size company IT operational systems.
Has established at least one successful experience in interfacing into a new MIS.
Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management.
Acumen on business judgment, analysis and organizational development.
Ability to develop and implement efficient and effective operational processes and procedures.
A self-starter with initiative and drive, with broad relevant technical knowledge with good management expertise.
Strong ability to multi-task and troubleshoot multiple problems simultaneously.
Experience in end user troubleshooting and support required.
Able to work under pressure and meeting agreed time frames.
Prior work experience in Saudi Arabia is an asset.
