Job Description
Duties and responsibilities:
- Internal Quality Assurance
- Development, implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement of all quality assurance methods in the laboratories of the division.
- Definition of the quality assurance measures to be taken in the laboratories.
- Quality Assurance of Official Laboratories
- Assistance to laboratories in the implementation of internal quality assurance systems.
- 'External' quality control of official and private laboratories.
- Evaluation of commercially available proficiency testing schemes and assistance in the organisation and evaluation of proficiency tests for laboratories.
- Assistance in the internal auditing and evaluation of laboratories.
- Cooperation with all quality managers of the Client.
Job Specification
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master degree or Bachelors degree in Science.
- A minimum of three years (maser) or five years (bachelor) experience in QA laboratory work.
- Trained on quality management systems.
- Experience in laboratory management system (ISO 17025)
- Hands on specialized training on quality management in laboratories.
- Experience in chemical laboratory preferably food chemical laboratories.
- Excellent spoken and written English with excellent communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, MS Project.
- Ability to adjust to new and changing environments, priorities and/or ideas.
- Flexibility and willingness to accept additional responsibilities.
- Preferably, attendance of training courses, workshops relevant to the field of work.
- Working knowledge of laboratory methods and procedures and data handling.
- Working knowledge of the types of laboratory equipment essential to the operation of clinical or environmental laboratories.
