We are looking for a skilled People Operations Officer who will recruit, support and develop talent through developing policies and managing procedures. You will be responsible for administrative tasks and you’ll contribute to making the company a better place to work. The goal will be to provide excellent assistance and support to employees and managers.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Insert new employees in the Personnel Database ensuring the accuracy of all data.
  • Update employees’ data and bank account numbers in the HR System.
  • Ensure the correctness of Job Offers of new hires and inform the Head of People Operations Department for some variance on contracts prepared by the recruitment team.
  • Process all personnel action forms and ensuring proper approval
  • Receive and review Leave Request Forms from various departments/sections and check employee’s entitlements.
  • Monitor the schedules absences such as holiday or travel and attendance to ensure that the staff absences have been adequately covered off.
  • Investigate and understand causes for staff absences
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and record data in employee files and record books
  • Help and coordinate in the payroll process in checking payroll summary at the end of each month
  • Extract list of employees due for contract renewal on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare employment contract for employees’ signature
  • Prepare termination package and send to concern department for those who resigned or terminated or fail the probatioary appraisal.
  • Maintain active and terminated employee records ensuring adequate confidentiality of information.
  • Ensure that vacation, sick leave, absences and overtime are correctly updated against the payroll summary.
  • Input corrective action in the System and provide copy to Finance department if to implement deduction.
  • Assist in all HR related government relations including GOSI, MOL, HRDF, etc.
  • Explain employment standards and legislation such as workers compensation, labor standards
  • Stay up to date on the latest modifications of the labor law and counsel staff about any problems they may occur at work
  • Process the procedures of the issuance of visas and follow-up its file.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or any relevant major.
  • Minimum of at least three (3) years work experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • Good knowledge of Saudi Labour Law.
  • Good Knowledge of Technology sector industry
  • Knowledgeable in the principles, practices and techniques of human resources administration, organization and operation.
  • Strong work prioritization skill
  • Knowledgeable in computer systems and ERP applications.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Fluency in Arabic amp; English (verbal and written)
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently across functional groups and on multiple initiatives simultaneously
