The Pre-Sales Consultant (PSC) supports sales productivity and deal flow by securing the technical close in complex solutions. They would collaborate with sales, professional services, engineering, customer success, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical amp; business decision-makers.

The PSC is responsible for supporting the achievement of sales targets and increasing conversion rates based on the targets set and the open enterprise opportunities in the pipeline by sales resources, market, and/or channel support.


Main Task and Responsibilities
  • Works deals assigned to the sales team supported, prioritizing effort based on maximizing total impact on team productivity and profit, or as directed by the director of enterprise
  • Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers’ met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.
  • Secures input from all related stakeholders within the customer firm. Adapts solution amp; services, as necessary, to ensure appropriate buy-in and delivery.
  • Coordinates closely with enterprise sales, product team, and professional services resources to align solution configuration amp; implementation with customers' business requirements.
  • Secures from customer technical staff commitments needed to ensure a deal’s technical close.
  • Provides coaching and professional development to team-member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
  • Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities within customer firms based on demonstration sessions and collecting more info about the business requirements. Collaborates with sales amp; account managers to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and advanced.
  • Monitors customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process, and alerts the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure.
  • Achieves assigned productivity and conversion targets
  • Maintains deal through-put in early deal-sales process steps.
  • Achieves product growth targets for the assigned geography, channel, sales team, or account base.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
  • Completes agreed on sessions and system configuration within the assigned time frame.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree holder in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum four years of sales or sales engineering experience in a business-to-business, large/strategic customer segment
  • A record of achievement and technical solution expertise in a comparable sales role.
  • Product certification, engineering credential, or equivalent technical credential.
  • Experience in working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Outstanding negotiation/sales skills with proven closing ability
  • Must have strong and excellent English amp; Arabic communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently across functional groups and on multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Must be flexible to wor
