Rotate and train on each aspect of the warehouse / distribution processes ( Returns, Receiving, Restock and Transfers) ensuring compliance to standard procedures.
Execute all aspects of order fulfillment including planning orders, preparing priorities and inbound material from external suppliers.
Ensure employees have appropriate training and other resources to perform their jobs.
Provide daily hands-on support for the department.
Drive compliance with safety, quality, delivery and cost goals in support of warehouse team objectives.
Provide recommendations on process improvement and supervise implementation.
Maintain attendance and enforce adherence to the attendance policy.
Respond to and resolve employee relations issues expressed by team members;
create and maintain a high-quality work environment so that team members are motivated to perform at their highest level.
Address disciplinary and/or performance problems according to company policy.
Prepare warnings and communication effectively with employees on warnings and make effective/appropriate decisions relative to corrective action as required
3 years warehouse experience, with supervisory experience in a high volume, fast paced distribution operation.
Ability to multi-task and detail oriented
Familiarity with Microsoft Office
Ability to build cross functional teams and communicate effectively.
Strong bias for action. Has ability to get to the best answer in an aggressive timeframe.
Excellent analytical skills, critical thinking ability and acute attention to detail.
