About the Role
The Logstics Manager is responsible for managing the logistics operation for the brand in KSA. You will establish and continuously improve the most suitable logistics operation for the brand, in order to help achieve their key objectives on sales, margins and stock levels. You will drive effective communication and collaboration with various supply chain and business partners and be the lead subject matter expert and will maintain strong working relationships with all external and internal partners to ensure that all service level agreements (SLA) and key performance indicators (KPI) are delivered in line with business objectives.
Key Specific Accountabilities:
Manage and continuously improve the brand logistics operations
Build, develop and manage the logistics team and operations to deliver the business growth.
Manage Inbound Logistics; budget
Manage all third parties providing inbound logistics services
Manage Cost and Lead time from origin to arrival at DC
Manage and report on Inbound customs clearance processing, Inbound scheduling and Inbound delays and restrictions
Management of, and interaction with, multiple government authorities
Manage the function of product regulatory compliance (PRC)
Maintain up to date Product Registrations for all products- SFDA/SABER…
Outbound Logistics:
Management of KSA Distribution Centre/s, satellite x-dock and ancillary distribution capabilities
Management of distribution to stores and customers
Develop an annual Operating budget which reflects business growth and business requirements and conduct regular budget reviews as required by the business
Reporting and ways of working
Attend weekly calls & report: volume, brief commentary on priorities, headlines KPI’s
Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reports including cost, efficiency, accuracy and service
Maintain an ongoing Initiative tracker to drive continuous improvement.
Change / Project management
Inbound and Outbound logistics management of providers & cost reduction
Maintain the contract tracker and drive to ensuring green status
Build business cases
Adopt & develop best practice scalable innovations and solutions
Document tenders and manage tender processes
Implementation of initiatives and improvement objectives
Others
3PL / Contractor Management. Maintain the contract tracker and drive to ensuring green status
E-commerce Operations; Support the cost and service, click & collect and future changes in service provision
Corporate and Brand
Promote Brand and Corporate Values throughout the team and the ways of working.
Compliance to Principal standard operating procedures and relevant policies.
About You
To be successfully considered for this role, you must demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:
Degree level qualifications in related field or equivalent logistics management experience
Experience in large retail logistics operations in KSA
5+ Years of relevant retail logistics experience
Merchandise Planning experience across different retail formats would be an added advantage
Highly proficient in MS office applications, especially excel
Highly analytical person with great precision and attention to detail
Problem solving skills
Excellent skills in planning, organisation & negotiation
Good skills in supply chain management, merchandise management
Good working knowledge of SAP
High level of computer literacy and working knowledge of the logic and design of external data information platforms.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task
