Job Description
Join the Ops Integration team as City Manager. As City Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring multiple sites from operations and compliance point of view. You will be working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to achieve timely launches and operations metrics. With customer obsession and a high sense of ownership, you will utilize your skills to identify patterns and any disruptions in it. You should be able to dive deep, scrutinize details and foresee data implications. You must be flexible to work weekends and/or overnight shifts regularly and to travel to sites for launch, set up & monitor operations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Monitor operations of the assigned sites and suggest & deploy improvements
2. Identify useful data accumulated from multiple sources and take necessary actions
3. Foresee implications based on current data and trends
4. Be organized, apt and prompt in notifying the situation, problem solve and recur prevention
5. Serve as a liaison between the internal and external stakeholders keeping in mind the objectives, limits, conformance and information privacy
6. Train & direct associates for action and conformance of norms & practices
7. Audit the sites for various operational conformances, restrictions and norms
8. Conduct audits on based on SOPs, analyze data and propose features focusing on improving the Seller experience
Job Specification
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
You have some or all of the following skills:
· Significant experience working in a technology advocate or technical executive role
· Strong knowledge and experience with cloud computing infrastructure, application development platforms and popular programming languages
· Superior oral and written communication skills in Arabic and English
· Outstanding public speaking, content creation, and presentation skills (in person and online), and experience working with technical communities.
· Willingness to travel and ability to work autonomously
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline. Master's level and above is desired.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Significant experience (8-10 yrs) in IT Infrastructure and/or software development, with special emphasis in areas of Compute, Storage, Databases, Networking, Application Services, Big Data, Machine Learning, and/ or distributed computing.
· Practical familiarity with cloud computing platforms, architecture work, systems or application design, development or operations. Existing knowledge of the AWS platform a bonus.
· Working knowledge and experience with social / online marketing coupled with prior experience in product definition, bring-to-market strategies and/ or setting an industry standard.
· A history of successful speaking engagements, online content creation, industry influence, and/or recognition in technology publications is preferred.
· Success in nurturing, engaging with, and growing large technical communities
· Ability to speak Turkish is preferred

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Since the candidate will be managing multiple sites, candidate should manage to shuttle between the sites. Candidate should have a valid Driver's License.
· Excellent Communication skills - written and verbal
· Exposure to Warehouse managing systems (ERP), operations dashboard and tools
· Previous experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) warehousing, online retail etc.
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Ability to multitask and manage multiple sites simultaneously with attention to detail
