Job Description

Position Description:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Field Stationary Equipment, Structure and Piping) to work with Ras Tanura Producing Maintenance Division (RTPMSD) under Ras Tanura Producing Department (RTPD).

RTPMSD provides maintenance-engineering support for RTPD with specialized engineering and technical knowledge in the areas of maintaining Stationary Equipment, Structures and Piping systems to maintain stable operation and maximize profitability and meeting highest standards of safety and environment.

Minimum Requirements:
The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or other advanced professional engineering degree in related field. It is preferred to have professional engineering certifications like CRMP, TapRoot, FE and PE.

Minimum of 10 years experience with advance knowledge and experience in the field of stationary equipment, structure and piping systems in addition to corrosion.

Able to apply an engineering analysis and appraisal to maintenance techniques and practices.

Practical knowledge and experience in maintenance methods and practices including offshore pipelines and platforms structures repairs, welding and fabrication procedures, coating systems and material science.

Knowledge base of the latest developments in oil and gas process engineering technology through work experience, conferences, seminars and professional journals.

Job Specification

Duties & Responsibilities:
You are expected to be able to perform the following:

Work as dedicated maintenance engineer handling the metal shop activities, in addition to of stationary equipment, structure, piping systems and corrosion related repairs.

Handle, coordinate and execute projects.

Prepare forecast of future services and projects.

Handle active maintenance work orders including shutdown items and new work and upgrades.

Handle subsea pipelines repairs including providing detailed repair scopes and in house design packages.

Structure and civil related works (onshore/offshore).

Defect Notifications Repair Execution.

Plant reliability enhancement.
