Job Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Description

1 Plan, establish, execute, and finalization of all procurement and supply chain strategies for centralized procurement in cooperation with the corporate for the purchase of all construction, building materials and CAPEX goods and services throughout the entire groups and projects in KSA.

2 Define purchasing recommendations that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders in KSA.

3 Manage and monitor Procurement operations for assigned business unit, its offices, and jobsites.

4 Maintain regular communication with the business unit functional and project Procurement Managers to maintain knowledge of projects’ progress in order to apply required management direction, or corrective action, while meet regularly discipline and project managers for the same purpose.

5 Identify, and qualify potential new vendors, suppliers and subcontractors in order to secure more cost effective sources for all raw/high finishes materials and to maintain long-term relationships with subcontractors, vendors, trading companies and distributors.

6 Prepare, maintain and review purchasing files and records, price lists, the status of requisitions, contracts and orders, locate suppliers, approve bills for payment, monitor subcontractor performance, calculate the cost of orders, ensure invoices are charged to the appropriate accounts, and monitor inventory transfer forms for bookkeeping records.

7 Manage a team that develops and delivers purchasing and inventory reports, required documentation, and quality reports to ensure all materials need to request comply with projects’ specifications where international and local codes are met within budget and on schedule.

8 Manage and coordinate the data of all of KSA companies/branches requirements and for ensuring that related activities are performed efficiently, effectively to ensure policy and processes implemented across the organization comply with procurement regulations.

9 Analyze and evaluate the organizations overall procurement trends (spend analysis / categories) to identify the high spend areas to identify the potential areas of control and develop the options to minimize the costs and take proper measures.

10 Liaise with department managers to understand their current requirements and forecast to develop the procurement plan with cost estimates and delivery schedules as per the annual budget. Provide support in client contract negotiations to give Procurement input, communicate Procurement capabilities and anticipate Procurement requirements and staffing.

11 Communicate with the project team and the client in order to execute the procurement requirements of the project within the time, budget and Company and client quality standards and procedures.

12 Identify training needs and direct application of training programs to ensure that the assigned Procurement personnel have satisfactory knowledge of their level of work to perform.

13 Improve data efficacy and accuracy.

14 Ensure that the Lain Manager is notified of all of the above.

15 Perform other duties as assigned by LM or LM+.
