Duties and Responsibilities
1. Coordinate C4I program engineering and management activities.
2. Develop/propose solutions to address Change Requests.
3. Develop improvement /enhancement plans for the C4I systems and subsystems taking into consideration the technology.
4. Evaluate C4I systems and procedures in light of the latest operational concepts, and recommend changes for C4I plans.
5. Analyze maintenance data to identify system, procedural, organizational, or personnel requirements and recommend solutions.
6. Provide support and advise on manning requirements.
7. Train client personnel, as required.
8. Execute tasks assigned by the Program Management related to the C4I systems and subsystems including attending meetings and conferences, preparing briefings, etc.
9. Keep abreast of emerging C4I technologies, operational and technological research, and user trends in terms of the operational and technology choices.
10. Review Statement of Work (SOW) and other technical documents to ensure these documents address the clients requirements.
Job Specification
Qualifications
Shall have a minimum of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electronic/Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering. Must have working knowledge of the Peace Shield System or similar modern C4I system. Must have been trained on Prime Mission Equipment (PME) system and subsystems.
Experience
1. The candidate shall have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in C4I systems in general and a minimum of five (5) years of this experience with C4I Security systems or systems of the same type and generation in a security environment.
2. The candidate shall have supervisory and managerial experience in C4I system management, installation, integration, testing, operation, and maintenance.
3. The candidate shall have experience demonstrating excellent communication skills including written and verbal communication skills.
4. The experience shall include demonstrated ability to work independently, completing multiple and often competing tasks.
5. The candidate must have experience with Data Terminal Set, Encryption Devices, WiFi, and HF/VHF/UHF Radios.
