Responsibilities
- Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for our ride-hailing platform. Identify market opportunities, user needs, and competitive threats to inform product priorities and initiatives.
- Driver and Rider Experience: Champion the needs of both drivers and riders by continuously improving the user experience across all touchpoints. Collaborate with design, engineering, and operations teams to enhance features such as booking, navigation, payments, and customer support.
- Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings. Use insights to identify areas for differentiation and innovation within the ride-hailing space.
- Driver Acquisition and Retention: Develop strategies to attract and retain drivers on our platform, including incentives, rewards programs, and driver support initiatives. Optimize driver earnings, scheduling, and efficiency to maximize driver satisfaction and retention.
- Rider Acquisition and Retention: Implement strategies to acquire and retain riders, including promotional campaigns, loyalty programs, and personalized recommendations. Enhance rider engagement, loyalty, and lifetime value through targeted marketing and product initiatives.
- Safety and Trust: Prioritize safety and trust on our platform by implementing robust safety features, identity verification measures, and driver screening protocols. Continuously monitor and improve safety standards to ensure a secure and reliable ride-hailing experience for all users.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about local regulations and compliance requirements affecting the ride-hailing industry. Work closely with legal and regulatory teams to ensure our platform adheres to relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on consumer-facing mobile applications and platforms.
- Deep understanding of the ride-hailing industry, including market dynamics, competitive landscape, and user behavior.
- Proven track record of delivering successful products from concept to launch, preferably in the ride-hailing or transportation space.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize competing initiatives.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive consensus.
- Experience working in an agile environment, with proficiency in agile methodologies and product management tools.
- Passion for technology, innovation, and creating seamless user experiences in the ride-hailing ecosystem.
