Cost Estimation Engineer

JASARA PMC is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Cost Estimation Engineer to join our team. As a Cost Estimation Engineer at JASARA PMC, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and detailed cost estimates for various projects. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure that projects are financially viable and meet budget requirements. • Analyze project plans, specifications, and other relevant documentation to gather necessary information for cost estimation
• Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates based on project requirements and specifications
• Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations for cost optimization
• Conduct research and keep up-to-date with industry trends and market prices to maintain accurate cost estimation benchmarks
• Review vendor and subcontractor quotations to ensure accuracy and competitiveness
• Perform cost analysis and evaluation to validate and update cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare cost reports, presentations, and documentation for project proposals
• Participate in value engineering sessions to optimize project costs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Cost Estimation Engineer or in a similar role in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation methodologies and tools
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience in value engineering and cost optimization is preferred
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic is required
