Job Description
We are a leading independent Talent Acquisition Consultancy in the Oil and Energy industry, and is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Lead Piping Engineer. Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of piping engineers and designers to ensure the successful delivery of piping design projects.
- Develop and review design concepts, technical specifications, and construction deliverables for piping systems.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and quality requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify and resolve any issues or risks.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective integration of piping systems within the overall project.
- Prepare and present project updates, reports, and presentations to senior management and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Mandatory: Designer with experience in S3D and Microstation
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in piping engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of piping design principles, engineering standards, and codes.
- Proficient in the use of piping design software and tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the Oil amp; Gas industry.
- Professional Engineer certification.
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
