Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

As an Associate Sales Director - Classifieds, you will be responsible for sales of classifieds business in KSA. You will assist the Head of Sales in setting up the sales function, developing products, contributing to market sizing, meeting and locking deals with agencies, and developing relationships with government agencies. You, along with the Head of sales will set and monitor sales targets for the classified’s sales team in coordination with strategy teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with backend amp; strategy teams for zoning and product pricing for optimized sales volumes
  • Hire sales resources and maintain optimal team size to achieve sales targets
  • Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for sales at all levels in coordination with the strategy team
  • Analyse amp; report sales KPIs periodically to the business head(s)
  • Responsible for setting monthly/quarterly targets of the sales team in coordination with the strategy team
  • Continuously observe listing trends, and product performance as well as suggest changes accordingly
  • Identify best practices to improve the sales processes and overall marketing and sales efficiency
  • Oversee Pamp;Ls to maintain business profitability as per the business plan
  • Responsible for maintaining relationships with repeat clients to keep them satisfied and promote future business opportunities.
  • Evaluate new development opportunities to grow the overall business
  • Continuous coaching for team members by helping team members reach their full sales potential, and the ability to support and motivate sales members is essential
  • Responsible for the Training Need Assessment (TNA) of the sales team.
  • Execute sales training program based on TNA in coordination with sales strategy heads
  • Initiate performance improvement interventions with the help of the sales strategy team
  • Collaborate with sales ops teams to ensure optimal service levels and smooth agency and customer operations
  • Oversee market research and conduct competitor and customer analysis regularly
  • Raise process requirements to tech and strategy teams for optimal sales operations
  • Suggest improvements to the company portal for enhancement of sales
  • Develop team and consumer promotions for sales enhancement in coordination with strategy and product teams
  • Conduct market outreach events and expos to enhance the agency and client base
  • Represent the company in expos and other real estate events
  • Forge good working relationships with regulatory bodies for smooth operations
  • Conduct frequent market visits alongside the sales teams to keep field knowledge intact
  • Conduct morning meetings with teams to give direction regularly
  • Oversee special projects.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a relevant field

Experience:

  • At least 10 years of previous sales management or active sales is a must
  • Proven Commercial sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets.

Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of commercial avenues
  • Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods
  • A deep understanding of the market services/products
  • Understanding of tech platform sales
  • Ability to accurately forecast sales
  • Ability to analyze data to find trends and problems.
