We are looking for a Big Data Architect to join our team at Salla.
As a Big Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and building large databases and implementing the architecture and infrastructure required to support our big data initiatives.
You will work closely with the data engineering and data science teams to develop scalable solutions for processing, storing, and analyzing large volumes of data.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing the architecture and infrastructure for our big data projects.
- Working with internal teams to understand their data requirements and designing data solutions to meet their needs.
- Developing and implementing data ingestion techniques to collect data from various sources.
- Building data pipelines to efficiently process and transform data.
- Designing and optimizing data storage solutions for big data projects.
- Implementing data governance and security measures to protect data privacy.
- Working with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models.
- Monitoring and optimizing the performance of big data systems.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in big data and data engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Big Data Architect or a similar role.
- Designing and building new databases for systems and applications.
- Strong knowledge of big data technologies and architectures.
- Experience with cloud-based big data platforms, preferably AWS.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Scala, or Python.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
