Health and Safety Manager - Offshore Operations

Eram Talent, a division of ERAM Group, is currently seeking a Health and Safety Manager - Offshore Operations to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of personnel working in offshore operations.

• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures for offshore operations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide guidance and support on health and safety matters to offshore personnel.
• Coordinate and conduct safety training programs for offshore employees.
• Investigate and report on incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with management and project teams to develop and implement safety improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of health and safety programs and initiatives.
• Communicate health and safety requirements and expectations to contractors and subcontractors.
• Develop emergency response plans and procedures for offshore operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 18 years of experience in health and safety management, with specific experience in offshore operations.
• Experience in the Oil amp; Energy industry is highly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of offshore safety regulations and best practices.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence and engage others in health and safety initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with offshore personnel and contractors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel to offshore locations as required.
