Civil/Roads Field Engineer

JASARA PMC, a leading engineering and project management company, is seeking a skilled Civil/Roads Field Engineer to join their team. As a Civil/Roads Field Engineer at JASARA PMC, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing civil and roads construction projects from the field. You will work closely with project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution and completion of projects. • Experience in Civil/Roads construction projects, including earthwork, grading, asphalt paving, and road maintenance.
• Monitor construction activities on-site to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Perform quantity take-offs, cost estimations, and material procurement for the projects.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Conduct inspections and tests to verify compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Resolve any technical issues and provide technical advice and guidance to project teams and contractors.
• Prepare progress reports, site diaries, and other project documentation.
• Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed on-site.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience as a Civil/Roads Field Engineer.
• Extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles, road construction techniques, and codes/regulations.
• Proficiency in using engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Professional certifications in civil engineering or related fields are desirable.
