Senior Designer - Piping (UAE)

Eram Talent is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Designer - Piping to join our team. As a leading independent Talent Acquisition Consultancy, we specialize in providing recruitment solutions for the Oil and Energy industry. The Senior Designer - Piping will play a critical role in the design and development of piping systems for various projects.

• Design and develop piping systems for oil and gas production facilities, including pipelines, valves, and associated components.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, as well as project specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate piping designs with overall project requirements.
• Create 2D and 3D drawings using design software and tools.
• Perform calculations and analysis to validate design integrity and functionality.
• Review and evaluate contractors' proposals, technical specifications, and materials for piping systems.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of piping systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation of design revisions, change orders, and project progress.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior designers and drafters.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to piping design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Piping Designer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, PDMS, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.3, API, ANSI).
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
