About Us

AlGooru is an innovative education platform founded in 2018 in Saudi Arabia. We use AI to connect students with private tutors in over 20 subjects, available for both online and in-person sessions.

Our mission is mainly to bridge the gaps in private tutoring. Our platform effortlessly connects students, parents, and qualified tutors, eliminating the need for endless searches and reliance on recommendations.

Fun Fact: AlGooru originally derives from Guru, a Sanskrit* term for a "mentor, guide, expert, or master" of certain knowledge or field.

Main Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute a data-driven growth strategy with the executive team, exceeding acquisition, revenue, and market share targets.
2. Own and optimize AlGooru's revenue funnel, identifying and addressing bottlenecks through cross-functional collaboration for sustainable growth.
3. Design and implement impactful customer traction, retention, and monetization experiments to accelerate growth and optimize OMTM (MRR).

A Day In Your Life

• Revenue Funnel Ownership:
• Take complete ownership of AlGooru's revenue funnel, aligning efforts with key objectives.
• Collaborate with the executive team to define and refine growth objectives, ensuring alignment with revenue targets and lead generation goals.
• Acquisition Strategy:
• Craft and execute diverse acquisition strategies, including paid media, SEO, referral programs, and strategic collaborations.
• Implement initiatives to achieve community growth goals.
• Analytics and Infrastructure:
• Build and maintain a comprehensive growth dashboard, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with Data and Tech teams to establish efficient tracking and analytics infrastructure, supporting lead generation.
• Experimentation and Optimization:
• Design and lead experiments for increasing customer acquisition, retention, and monetization, aligning with objectives such as launching free live sessions.
• Utilize A/B testing and optimization techniques to meet targets.
• Stakeholder Communication:
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with objectives and strategies.
• Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead and mentor a team of professionals (SEO, social media, content marketers...), fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement to meet overall growth objectives.

Requirements

Experience needed

• 4+ years of proven experience in growth marketing, with a track record of significant user and revenue growth
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role is a MUST
• A strong analytical mind with expertise in utilizing analytics tools and MMPs like GA, Adjust, Segment, Mixpanel, and HubSpot to translate data into actionable insights
• Demonstrated expertise in PPC, SEO, social media, etc.
• A passion for experimentation and a constant drive to test and optimize for maximum impact.
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive approach to problem-solving
