The Job in a Nutshell

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Compliance amp; Governance Officer who will help us guarantee that our business processes and transactions follow all relevant guidelines, complying with KSA and SAMA regulations and internal stands too. You will be accountable for a range of duties from conducting risk assessments to advising the management, providing a link between specialist departments and management team, regulating the flow of information between management and specialist areas, while respecting different responsibilities and confidentiality requirements. With your team, you will participate in developing compliance programs, reviewing company policies, and advising on possible risks.

What Will You Do

  • Knowledge in SAMA regulatory framework, and good knowledge of KSA regulatory compliance in financial and payment services
  • Work to identify risk areas and implement controls to protect our organization from those risks
  • Apply and follow with concerned department to implement with all regulation
  • Work closely with regulatory, including SAMA reporting, ad hoc’s and other requirements.
  • Follow-up with departments regarding findings, ensure meeting target dates.
  • Work internally with other departments on monitoring and awareness of compliance.
  • Knowledge of the compliance field and its related new regulations, circulars and trends.
  • Maintain and evaluate metrics on compliance activity.
  • Conduct annual assessment on level of compliance and find potential areas of non-compliance.
  • Ensure all the operation activities are performed in accordance with the compliance plans, and related regulations.
  • Improve the policies and procedures, controls and other compliance related matters.
  • Maintaining and updating compliance plans in accordance with compliance related regulations.
  • Coordinating with other departments within the company to ensure that regulatory requirements are met.
  • Reviewing and investigating complaints from customers, employees, or other stakeholders regarding potential violations of laws or regulations
  • Monitoring new legislation and regulations to ensure compliance with these standards, including creating new policies and procedures for the organization to follow

What Are We Looking For

    • 2+ years of experience in a relevant role
    • Bachelor's degree in law, business, finance or other related field.
    • CCO is a plus
    • Up to date knowledge in SAMA regulatory framework, and good knowledge of KSA regulatory compliance in financial and payment services
    • Experience in fintech industry is a plus
    • Comfortable with both English and Arabic languages
    • Strong commands over MS Office applications
    • Flexible to work in a fast paced and evolving environment
