As a Mechanical QC, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical equipment in the Oil amp; Energy sector. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our clients' projects, and ultimately, the growth and reputation of Eram Talent.
Responsibilities
- Aware of the type of inspection needed related to electricity.
- Aware of raising the proper RFIs
- Reported to QC supervisor amp; QC manager.
- Checking all electric routes and making sure that it follow quality procedures (transformers, switches, batteries, sockets, outlets, etc.)
- Following the quality plan for the project.
- Identify all quality issues and try to solve it which is related to their scope.
- Perform inspections and audits on mechanical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Conduct quality control checks and tests on materials and components used in mechanical systems.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics to ensure proper installation and functionality of mechanical systems.
- Identify and document non-conformances and coordinate with the necessary teams to address and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and support in resolving quality-related issues.
- Maintain and update quality documentation, including inspection reports, test records, and non-conformance reports.
- Participate in internal and external audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in mechanical quality control.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide suggestions for process enhancements.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in mechanical quality control within the Oil amp; Energy industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as API, ASME, and ISO.
- Demonstrated experience in performing inspections and audits on mechanical systems and equipment.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and document non-conformances.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
