We are partnering with our client, a reputable manufacturing company, to hire a CNC Operator - Turning. As a CNC Operator - Turning, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC turning machines to produce precision parts and components. Working closely with a team of technicians and engineers, you will ensure the efficient and accurate operation of the machines while upholding the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:- Set up CNC turning machines by installing fixtures, tooling, and programs
- Load materials onto the machine and ensure proper alignment
- Operate CNC turning machines to perform machining operations according to specifications
- Monitor machine operations and detect any issues or malfunctions
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the machines
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with the team to optimize machine performance and productivity
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator - Turning
- Strong knowledge of CNC turning machines and their operation
- Experience with programming and setting up CNC turning machines
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and precision
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
