We are currently hiring a CNC Operator - Milling for our client, a reputable manufacturing company. As a CNC Operator - Milling, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality parts and components. You will work with a team of technicians and engineers to ensure the efficient and accurate operation of the machines while maintaining the highest level of quality.
Responsibilities:- Set up CNC milling machines by installing and adjusting fixtures, tooling, and programs
- Load materials into the machine and secure them properly
- Operate CNC milling machines to perform machining operations according to specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure the proper functioning and detect any issues or malfunctions
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Make adjustments to the machine settings as needed to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the machines
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with the team to optimize machine performance and productivity
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator - Milling
- Strong knowledge of CNC milling machines and their operation
- Experience with programming and setting up CNC milling machines
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and precision
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
