We’re looking for a Senior Graphic Designer

A bit about us

AlGooru is a Saudi-based edtech startup that uses AI to connect students with on-demand private tutors over 20+ subjects.

Main responsibilities

1. Responsible for creating visually appealing and impactful designs to elevate our social media presence
2. Identify gaps and propose ideas to enhance visual brand identity
3. Collaborate with content marketers to improve the visual communication delivery
4. Ensure a consistent and engaging brand presence across all platforms

A day in your life

• Develop and maintain the visual brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all communication channels
• Understand marketing initiatives, brand positioning, and target audience
• Brainstorm and develop clear ideas in collaboration with content marketers
• Cooperate with the rest of the creative team across different types of media
• Manage projects from initial concept to final execution, ensuring timely completion
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative team environment
• Delegate responsibilities to other designers
• Present completed ideas to the content team members
• Stay updated with industry trends, design tools, and software to continuously improve design quality and efficiency

Requirements

Experience needed

• 8+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer
• Deep understanding of Saudi culture (do's amp; don'ts)
• Proficient in typography, color theory, layout design, print production, motion graphics, and video editing
  Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Premier Pro
• Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or 3D modeling is a plus
• Familiarity with Midjourney platform
• Exceptional graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Thrives in fast-paced environments, adept at working with cross-functional teams.
