As the Sr. Maintenance Mechanical Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment in the oil and energy sector. You will be responsible for overseeing maintenance activities, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing preventative maintenance plans. Your expertise and technical knowledge will contribute to the overall efficiency and safety of operations.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and plans to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential mechanical issues and develop appropriate solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective execution of maintenance activities
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to maintenance personnel on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance procedures
- Analyze equipment failure data and propose solutions to improve reliability and minimize maintenance costs
- Review and update maintenance procedures, manuals, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Participate in the selection and evaluation of vendors, contractors, and suppliers for maintenance-related services and equipment
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with 15 Years of Work Experience in Mechanical Engineering Field. Good understanding of maintenance and turnaround work process
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and processes
- Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software for analysis and design
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organization
