As a Procurement Specialist - Senior Procurement, you will play a crucial role in our organization, responsible for overseeing the procurement process, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing activities. Your expertise and knowledge of procurement principles and practices will contribute to the success of our projects and operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for various projects within the Oil amp; Energy industry.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential vendors.
- Evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate contracts and prices.
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance and support.
- Monitor and track supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality standards, delivery schedules, and budget constraints.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legal requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the Oil amp; Energy industry.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, best practices, and industry trends.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in procurement software and systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are a plus.
