We are exclusively partnering with a very well established and innovative client who are now looking for a dynamic Vice President of Shared Services to join the leadership team in Saudi Arabia. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic leadership and management of shared service functions, encompassing HR, Finance, Procurement and IT. You will play a critical role in streamlining operations, enhancing cost-effectiveness, and optimizing resource allocation.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute shared services strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Provide clear leadership and direction to shared service teams to promote synergy and collaboration.
- Financial Management:
- Oversee the finance and accounting functions, including budgeting, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and financial performance improvement.
- Human Resources:
- Lead the human resources function, encompassing talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and professional development.
- Foster a positive organizational culture and ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- IT:
- Manage and develop technology solutions that enhance operations, data security, and support our strategic objectives.
- Ensure compliance with data protection laws and industry standards.
- Vendor and Supplier Relationships:
- Oversee and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to service level agreements.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements, streamlining operational efficiency, and enhancing service quality.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within shared services functions.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure strict adherence to local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to manage and mitigate risk effectively.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- A minimum of 10 years of senior management experience, including significant experience in shared services leadership roles with a strong financial focus.
- Strong familiarity with the regulatory environment in Saudi Arabia and knowledge of the local landscape.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Superior financial acumen and analytical capabilities.
- Proficiency in HR practices, IT systems, and procurement and contract management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
