Senior Structural/Civil Engineer (Relocation Package for Saudi Arabia)

On behalf of our client, one of the leading Engineering Consulting companies in the Middle East, we are currently looking for a talented Senior Structural/Civil Engineer, to join its Engineering team in Jeddah.

Your day-to-day

• Review and co-ordinate all related discipline design drawings (civil, electrical, mechanical and structural)
• Review and coordinate all related disciplines during Contractor’s shop drawing reviews against the Company design drawings
• Identify conflicts between the design requirements and/or existing conditions that may require a clarification or change, and coordinate with the RE and PM
• Ensure that the Contractor complies with drawings and design in terms of design, materials and workmanship standards
• Issue site instructions to the Contractor on all corrective action to deviations through the Resident Engineer (RE)
• Receive and release inspection requests with the related action
• Review, comment and approve the method statement of construction proposed by the Contractor
• Check progress and quality of work and report to the Resident Engineer on a daily basis
• Arrange and action checklist for special activities on site
• Test and commission related works after completion of construction and ensure its compliance with specifications and standards

Requirements

• Bachelor of Civil/Structural Engineering
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in site supervision or contracting works
• Experience in:
  • Structural Design Technical Reviews
  • Steel Structural Design
  • Superstructure Experience
  • Site Structural Experience
  • Ground Improvement
  • Ground Levelling
  • Excavation
  • Piling
  • In-situ concrete
  • Underneath Services
  • Soil Testing
  • Project Management
• PMP or LEED Green Certifications are preferred but not mandatory
