As a Rigger Level 1, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of equipment and materials in various work environments. This includes performing rigging activities such as lifting, moving, and securing heavy objects. You will have the opportunity to work on projects in the Oil amp; Energy sector, contributing to the success of important operations.
Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret and follow rigging plans and specifications
- Inspect and maintain rigging equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning
- Coordinate with team members to safely position and secure equipment and materials
- Operate rigging equipment, such as cranes and hoists, in a safe and efficient manner
- Rig and de-rig loads using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures at all times, promoting a culture of safety excellence
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth project execution
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Relevant certification as a Rigger Level 1
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in rigging operations in the Oil amp; Energy industry
- Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, equipment, and materials
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow rigging plans and specifications
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment
