Job Description

Shall have a diploma or vocational certiticate in [nstrumentation wi th at least Two (2) yea rs' experience
in the o perat ion and main tenance of instrum entation and control systems. Shall have been in the ti eld of
repairs and maintenance in the relevant field . He shall have good knowledge of process instrumentation.
and control systems, including control valves, alarms, tire alarms, and flow meters, SCADA, DCS, and
PLC etc
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various types of instrumentation equipment.
- Respond to emergency calls and perform unscheduled repairs to ensure continuous operation of production facilities.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance on instrumentation equipment to detect and prevent potential failures.
- Maintain and repair control systems, including PLCs and DCS.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
- Test accuracy of instrument calibration using test equipment such as pressure gauges, temperature indicators, and flow meters.
- Collaborate with other personnel, including engineers, electricians, and mechanics, to solve problems and ensure systems are functioning properly.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Instrumentation or related field.
- Minimum of 2years of experience working as an Instrument Technician in the Oil amp; Energy industry.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, including the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various types of equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
- Understanding of PLC and DCS control systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
