Job Description

Al Amal Business Solutions is looking for an Assistant Logistics Manager to join a dynamic team at an ultra-luxury hotel in Saudi Arabia. As an Assistant Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and managing the logistics operations of the ultra luxury hotel, including procurement, storage, transportation, inventory management, and distribution. You will work closely with the Logistics Manager and logistics team to ensure that all logistics activities are aligned with the hotel's goals and objectives, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.


Responsibilities
  • Support the Logistics Manager in developing and implementing logistics strategies and plans to meet operational and financial objectives.
  • Assist in managing procurement of goods and services for the hotel, including negotiation of contracts, selection of suppliers, and monitoring of delivery times and prices.
  • Assist the Logistics Manager in overseeing the storage, handling, and distribution of goods and materials in and out of the hotel, ensuring timely and accurate inventory tracking and control.
  • Assist in managing the transportation operations together with the Logistics Manager, including the delivery of goods to and from the hotel, as well as the coordination of transport providers and carriers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other external stakeholders to ensure the availability and quality of goods and services.
  • Assist in monitoring and analysing logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Assist in managing logistics staff, providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure that all logistics activities are performed to the highest standards of professionalism and excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including procurement, transportation, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to achieve high performance standards.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.
