As a Software Engineer - Backend, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems. You will be working with a team of highly skilled engineers to develop and deliver new features that will improve the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the backend systems of FlyAkeed's platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize new features.
- Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code that scales.
- Work with the team to design and implement robust APIs.
- Develop and maintain documentation for the systems you build.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide resolutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in backend software development.
- Proficient in at least one server-side programming language such as Java, Python, or Ruby.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud-based services, such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
