Job Description
- Shall demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of codes such as SMCNA, Uniform Mechanical Codes, applicable NFPA, ASHRAE Handbooks, Uniform Plumbing Code, International Plumbing Code and/or equivalent standards. ·
- Ensure conformity of installation/erection in accordance with specifications, relevant drawings and/or approved method statement. ·
- Conduct Q.C. Inspection, quality control reporting and recording of the HVAC, fire protection, sewage (bio-treatment) and plumbing works, etc. ·
- Responsible for implementation of Project Quality Plan, Quality Control Procedures and Inspection & Test Plans, etc. ·
- Conduct pre-commissioning, testing and commissioning, reliability and performance tests for all HVAC system, fire protection and bio treatment equipment, etc. ·
- Implementation of quality management procedures as required ISO 9001:2000 standard. ·
- Conduct vendor inspection at manufacturer’s facility as required by the client. ·
- To oversee the Quality Assurance System of sub-contractors and ensure that they conform to specifications.
Job Specification
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineer
Total of 8 years experience in the same field (i.e. 3 years experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Projects, infrastructure, etc., and 5 years in the inspection specialty).
